Superior Marketing has a focus to work with communities to supercharging their tourism marketing efforts to include hidden gems, must see, best foods, marketing our special events to help facilitate pre-planning for day trips and overnight visits.
The cumulative amount of resources by these DMOs (Destination Management organization) are vast and could be used more efficiently to target visitors where they're spending most of their time - online. There isn't a visitor that walks into a local establishment that isn't on their phone checking prices online compared to a local retail shop, reading reviews of a local restaurant or pub, or reviewing the website of a local recreation or entertainment venue. We Live, Work and Play in Northern Wisconsin
DeCora and his family spend a great deal of time visiting our neighboring communities to play. They love taking day trips to play tourist, visiting unique retail shops, go hiking, biking, and kayaking whether it is on the Chippewa Flowage, Flambeau Flowage, Lake Superior or McKenzie Lake - to name a few. They love to spend their dollars locally, understanding and realizing the impact the local dollar makes on every local establishment.
Curtis DeCora of Superior Marketing is from the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa in Hayward Wisconsin, graduate of Hayward High School and Northland College (Ashland WI). As life-long residents and a family of up-and-coming entrepreneurs, they operate Three Bears Lawn Care, Big Bang Fireworks, Boozhoo Coffee Company and Rising Stars Basketball Club as a family. DeCora founded the Tribal Business League as a means to help northern Wisconsin tribes improve their economic impact through group purchasing and resource sharing, as well as the Gitchi Movin' organization focused on getting community members healthy and active through positive physical activity, and donate 5-figures each year in marketing services to local non-profit organizations.
